#TongueOutTuesday (33)
Sweet little kisses? No haha, I had cookies in my hand and that’s Oona’s priority in life. I can’t blame her, I’m the same. although I’m currently obsessed with vegetarian sushi 🙂
And here is another creature that I encountered while hiking with the dogs. Just because it’s beautiful and interesting too.
Unlike ticks…
We currently feel invaded by ticks. Maybe you remember that I made anti-tick collars for the dogs? All three of them wear one like that, but because Mogwai is noticeably more attractive than the other two, I also gave her the anti-tick drops in her neck. These collars are super fun to make and also look cool, but I wouldn’t dare to say with certainty that they work, I am too critical and aware that I don’t know very much about it. Still, when Mogwai wasn’t wearing hers for 2 days, I pulled six thick ticks out of her fur, one of them under her tail! Yuk!
The strange thing is that on a walk we always find the most ticks on Oona and she still has the least bites. Mogwai has a difficult fur to spot the horrible creatures from afar but we also see them crawling well on Lizzie. Recently we got almost 20 (still crawling) ticks from Oona while Lizzie and Mogwai left the counter at around 5.
People ask me how the hell I survive the cold winters here, … I would rather give me tips on how to tolerate a summer with all those biting and stinging buzzy beasts or I might have to consider moving to the North Pole! ?
I know I’ve shared them before but I’m sooo-oo happy with my new business cards and postcards that I want to share the joy of seeing your designs come to life in real print, on paper that you can feel and touch. And boy, they feel good! Often my work stays in the realm of the digital world, not even escaping the behind the scenes or I make something for print but can’t see the result in real life. Some days I miss the joy and excitement of waiting for film to develop or prints to be ready so I also ordered some print from photographs to hang in my workspace and maybe even on the fridge 🙂
PS: If my blog or photographs bring you joy or inspiration, feel free to share the posts or images from the DOGvision facebook page. That way we can reach and inspire more people and it also helps me to get my work to be seen on Facebook. At this moment only a handful of people get any of the updates so every like, comment or share is worth a lot to me.
