We got sun on our minds

As I sit down to write this post, the warm and sunny days feel so far away. I feel the wintery mood in my bones and dive deep into my warm cardigan. The light outside is flat, the sky shades of grey, a perfect day for hot chocolate, getting work done, and looking back at the glorious blue skies and happy dogs.
All the ice is gone by now, and Mogwai keeps asking me to go swimming. Perhaps if she’d be a young Labrador like the dog we saw earlier this week, I’d give it a go, but being a 12-year-old senior Border Collie, the little beach will do for now ๐
In true Mogwai fashion, she had no time for disappointment and she had a blast playing with dirty sticks, digging in the sand, and running in the shallow water. Life can be a party if you’re up for it.
It’s been warm enough for Lizzie to go outside without a sweater! Our Greek goddess has been sunbathing, digging and zooming around.
Oona’s way of celebrating spring was rolling in the dirt. I don’t even know what it was, but she got extra bathtime ๐
And now, after soaking up the sunlight at 18*C, we’re back to a chilly 4*C.
On Sunday, Joeri wanted to switch my studded winter tires to summer tires, but halfway the machine broke. Now my car has 2 winter tires and 2 summer tires.
It’s a perfect illustration of our situation with April weather ๐
