Cupcakes for a birthday dog | Ravasz Transylvanian hound| Blog & dog photography tips on www.DOGvision.be

For a very special birthday, we make a very special treat: doggie cupcakes with fish! Ravasz loves to eat– almost anything. Not just food but also candles, socks and dirty stuff on our walks. We didn’t want to look in the woods for stinky stuff so we made something even more irresistible:

This is how you make them:

1 cup of flour
2 tablespoons of baking powder
1 tin of mackerel on oil
1 egg
1 large carrots
water

Mix the flour with the baking powder and egg  and stir well. Then add  3 spoons of the oil from the mackerel tin and a bit of water.
Chop the mackerel into fine pieces and add this together with the carrots to the dough. While you preheat the oven to 180 °C, fill about 10 cupcake liners for 2/3. These little cakes need about 10-15 minutes to bake and you can use a toothpick to check if they are ready.

Despite drooling dogs and begging faces, let these delicious treats cool down first to keep it safe.

Enjoy!
