DOGvision Christmas cards
During the dark months here in the north, that cozy run-up to Christmas is more than welcome. The whole house is now full of lights, inside and outside (so that we can still find our house lol) and when the sun sinks behind the horizon around 3 pm, we light scented candles.
No wonder that the collection of winter cards started with an image inspired by my old children’s books full of colorful illustrations and tons of snow. A reverie about the magic of childhood, but at the same time an invitation to create beautiful, new memories this year during this strange end-of-year period.
‘Dog winter magic’ was painted on paper with acrylic and in the image you can see the structures of the paint.

With starry night I left the paint aside for a while and digitally drew the snow-covered winter world – and very softly also a hint of northern lights, something we always look forward to during the coldest months. The shooting star is already good for a wish 🙂
Starry night: greeting card, postcard
Each design is available in both “greeting card” and “postcard”. Greeting cards are the standard folded greeting cards and they come with an envelope. Ideal for those who like to write a lot on the cards, to send cards that you can put on the cupboard, and for lovers of traditional cards. The postcards only need a stamp, no envelope needed. Ideal for those who have regrets in their hearts when beautiful stamps disappear into the bin, for collectors of postcards, and for Postcrossing.

“Sweater weather,” says it all, dive into a warm sweater on a cold day. This print is a hand-cut lino.

“Where are Pup and Kit?” Was inspired by my Facebook timeline where dogs, cats, and even a koala climbed the newly decorated Christmas trees 🙂
