#TongueOutTuesday (05)
The best sticks (or toys or chews) are without a doubt the treasures one steals from pack mates after a huge effort, intense runs and a bit of deceit … Just look at how Oona tastefully nibbled on that frozen branch that belonged to Mogwai up to seconds before this juicy moment that is infused with more devotion than usual for some extra dramatic undertones.
And this way I get the treat of a double #TOT moment 🙂
I read that a winter period would also announce itself in Belgium and many other places in Europe, so I wish you a lot of snow fun and hopefully not too much ice!
Last weekend we were treated to -16 * C and that made the walk a pretty refreshing affair. So much so that we already returned halfway the planned route. It was not so much the cold that wanted to escape, even though the tip of my nose was freezing (it is difficult to keep my scarf in front of it because of my glasses), but because it thawed for a few days last week, there was a lot ice and the snow was hard and sharp. We wear spikes under our shoes to prevent slipping, but Lizzie was clearly bothered by it. Unlike Mogwai and Oona, she barely has a protective coat, not even on her paws. We were surprised because the previous winters she managed to conquer the elements with a warm coat, but no two winters are the same, it turns out. So our search for shoes started from the moment we got back home – and in the meantime Lizzie could already enjoy a sauna session to make up for it 🙂
