#TongueOutTuesday (04)
Hidden under a thick layer of snow, this fourth Tuesday will be greeting you in silence. We already live in a very quiet place so it felt impossible that the silence would be even more present. The wind doesn’t show itself, the ice keeps quiet. And the snow insulates every sound. No car you hear driving, the horses walk by without a noise.
Ravasz found out that with +/- 50cm of snow you should not just go sniffing off-road … He immediately fell into the snow up to his stomach and looked at us: “What just happened ?” Oh, his look of utter disbelief made us laugh! Oona and Mogwai also quickly realized that there was a LOT of snow, but they were just getting extra crazy because of it. Pushing each other in the snow, rolling and running.
We made some paths in the snow to get to the wood, the house, and the road.
This week we got a super cool present from Betty Woof:
There was so much snow that walking got very difficult so we decided to try another approach to get outside: skiing!
But always prepared and careful:
Especially for the dogs, I’ve been working on a snow labyrinth! Still, need to get those walls higher because Oona just jumps over them. But they love to search for toys- and every day I change something to make it new for them 🙂
