#TongueOutTuesday (39)
While I make a copy of my memory card, my mind starts wandering and I think about the curious deer on the road, the many mushrooms we’ve found and the smell of autumn in the forest. At my feet, Mogwai is sleeping- and even snoring a little bit. Outside it’s pitch black by now and I scratch where an ant has bitten my neck. That’s what you get when you’re lying on the ground in the forest to take a picture ๐ — BUT I still prefer some ants over the millions of hungry summer mosquitos. (Although those are a great reason to start a cozy bonfire)
Anyway,
on the Dutch part of this website, on the funny Tuesdays I also make some time for a weekly roundup with the latest news from here up north. And my bad, I often forget to write a part in English too *hiding in shame forever* ๐
First and foremost, after lots of doubt, I opened my own Etsy shop! The idea was mostly to share my handmade books and illustrations (as you can see on Fenne.be) but of course, DOGvision needs his own corner, right?
The first product I proudly announce is a set of 7 autumn- inspired Lightroom presets that you can use to instantly make the autumn moods stronger. If you’re curious what they look like when being used, take a look at my images or my Instagram account. I use the same presets myself (and on Instagram, I try to write the used presets with the photographs).
From now on the doors of my digital shop are open and you’re very welcome to take a look, shop, write reviews and of course let me know any suggestions (because this is very new to me).
* Presets for Lightroom are settings which you can download and with one click you can add it your photo. A preset will provide your photo with a specific look & feel, save you a ton of time and make it easy to get that special look. For an optimal result, you can still adjust the preset to your photographs and then adjust the same settings to a whole series.
The second supermegacrazyexciting thing is a step forward in our paperwork. This week I got a fresh and vibrant red temporary drivers plate! The next step is the import inspection and then my favourite car in the whole world will be officially moving to Sweden ๐
When we started movind, most people gave us the advice to get rif of my old car and buying a new one. A Volvo they said- because we would be living in Sweden. I guess I’m a bad immigrant but no way I would swap this great car for any other. For more than 10 years this grey sweetie is getting me and my dogs everywhere. And it’s an easy car- not much electronic stuff ๐
— And my neighbors noticed this big red flag on my car too. They were staring at it so badly that they almost forgot to say hi.
By the way, one of our neighbours recently admitted googling me after seeing the link to DOGvision on my car. You can’t hide in Sweden ๐
From my home country, Belgium, I get messages and photo’s about an Indian summer, drinking beers outside of bars and more sunny things, but here in Sweden, I’m going for hot chocolate! (with a piece of extra dark chocolate to dip of course.)
Another shot with the Lensbaby Twist 60 of our birthday girl Oona who looooooves her birthday cookies.
This photo was just before the rain so a very dark afternoon.
Later I’ll share the ants-in-the-pants photos of the forest shoot.
And I just saw that Red Paddle (where we got the SUP from) shared a delicious summer memory:
Now time for tea and bastu.
See you later!
